Big butterfly kisses
This floral card will certainly cheer up the recipient! The big butterfly gate fold on the front does not only give this card extra dimension, but it is also a great eye-catcher.
Cut a piece of white card measuring 13.5 cm x 13.5 cm square This forms the centre panel of the card. Cut out the two halves of the butterfly in white card stock and crease the edge along the dotted line to give a fold. Stick the folds to the back of the centre panel and fold the butterfly panels in- they should then overlap slightly so that the body of the butterfly merge into one.
Cut a piece of the design paper approximately 12.7cm square and matt onto a slightly large piece of the pink card from the paper set. Fix to the centre panel.
Cut the lace border using papers in contrasting colours and stick to the top of the centre panel. Cut out the flower and leaves and fix to the side of the centre panel just below the border edge.
Stamp sentiment onto a thin strip of design paper then cut one end into a fish tail and your card is finished!
