Silent night, holy night

Underneath this beautiful starry night is a nativity scene made by Julie. Because the card is in three panels you really feel as if you're looking in on the scene.

Make a card blank using an A4 piece of white card measuring 28 x 10cm and then score vertically at 8cm in from either side.    Cut a piece of smooth white card to the same measurements for the inking layer.

Next, sponge gesso through the starry night mask and dry with a heat tool, Once dry, spray with Prize blue ribbon graduating from dark to light down the card.   Blot with kitchen towel to remove excess ink from the stars. Tear some strips of the gold design paper and layer at the bottom of the card.  Also cut out a circle in gold for the moon and a gold star.

Cut out the stables and nativity figures in black card.  Arrange across the card and then fix in place when you are happy with the layout.  Distress the edges with a distress tool or scissors, stamp sentiment onto white card stock and fix over the moon on the central panel. Finally fix the finished scene on to the card blank.
