Wonderful tea time

Julie wishes you a wonderful day with this lovely card. And with a nice tea-moment as this it is sure to be such a day! By die-cutting the teapot from design paper it became a beautiful centerpiece.

Cut a piece of cream card slightly smaller than the card blank and die cut the top left hand corner  with the pierced corner die. Fix on top of a piece of design paper leaving a border of design paper. Die cut a semi – circle in the same design paper as the base mat and fix to the bottom right hand corner. I’ve cut the semi circle from the piece of patterned paper that will be hidden below the cream card on top.

Die cut the tea pot and one of the mugs in a second design paper from the set.  Die cut  another mug in a plain colourway using the reverse side of the papers. Fix the plain mug to the card and then use foam pads to fix the remaining mug and tea pot in place.

Die-cut a fish tail tag, stamp the sentiment and use foam pads to fix across the top of the finished card.

Finally cut two tea bag tags and add a couple of kisses to each.  I’ve then used parts of a bow from the gift wrapping die set to make the strings for each tea bag so look through your die sets to find something that could be what you need!
