Verjaardagsklok
It is time to celebrate! Julie made this awesome large birthday card for a man. What a great way to surprise him. You can use the clock stencil as a card shape, but you can also use it on your card as Julie did.
Make a card blank using an A4 piece of white card measuring 22 x 15 cm then mat design paper onto blue card stock and fix in place. Again, using white card stock, use the clock stencil to draw the outline of the mantle clock and then cut out by hand. Ink the edges in navy for definition. Use the stencil to draw the outline of the two shapes either side of the clock onto design paper, cut out and place as shown.
Die cut the Congratulations circle and Happy Birthday words in navy card stock. Also die cut the inner clock face, hands and numbers in navy. I’ve only used the quarter hour numbers as it could look too crowded with all the numbers. Fix the hands in place with a silver push pin and then fix to the centre of the clock face.
Cut out the Hip Hip Hooray letters in white card and layer onto design paper and fix to top left corner of the card. Balance this with enamel dots on the right hand side.
Finally fix the Happy Birthday letter to the bottom border of the clock, stamp sentiment and fix to centre of the bottom border with foam pads.
