Flowers in a jug

This gorgeous vase with flowers was made by Julie Baker with Marleen's new Flower Jug. But take a closer look; this background paper is not from a Pretty Papers Bloc, but was stamped by Julie using the new Colorful Silhouette stamps.

Make a card blank measuring approximately 13.5 by 14.5cm.  Die cut the front side of the card with the Corner Flourish die.

For the inside panel of the card, cut a piece of white card approximately 12.5 by 14cm. Stamp the flowers and leaves from the stamp set in a variety of toning inks.

Mat the completed panel onto a slightly larger piece of lilac card.  Cut out the oval lace frame in the same lilac card and the inner oval in white card.

Die cut the flower jug in patterned papers and the twigs in white card.  Arrange the twigs behind the jug before fixing to the centre of the oval lace frame.  Position and glue the oval frame to the centre of the floral panel. Using the miniature little dies from the Jug set,  cut several little flowers, butterflies and hearts  in patterned paper to match jug and arrange on twigs and oval frame.  Make a bow from twine, fix to the front of the jug and finish off with a small heart from the miniature dies as before.
