Lovely poinsettia's

Julie combined the beautiful poinsettia's stamp with the new embroidery border. By using only one color of thread you give it a classic look. And do you see the berries twinkling?

Cut a piece of red card stock, approximately 14x17 cm and then using the stitching die to create the stitching template along the bottom of the red card.  Embroider with cream thread – I used washi tape to keep the ends in place on the back of the card. Using white card and just the edge die from the set, die cut a mat to fix under the red embroidered card to highlight the pretty edge of the die.

Using smooth, white card stock, stamp the poinsettia die and colour in with alcohol markers.  Then add gold glitter pen to the berries. Trim the stamped and coloured piece of card to fit just inside the red card panel above the embroidered section.

Cut a piece of the design paper to fit the card blank and then layer on the stamped and embroidered panel.  Finally, add some gold rhinestones to the centre of the berry circles on the embroidered border and also onto the four corners of the coloured panel.
