Message in a bottle
Look what Julie found on the beach! It is a message in a bottle. The bottle is stamped with Tiny's new stamp and die set. Isn't it a fun creation?
Cut out a piece of Kraft card approximately 13x13 cm and stamp Sand Dune background stamp with Sepia Ink pad. Mat onto a piece of Blue card stock to fit the square card blank. Cut out the bottle using acetate sheet and then use the Stazon ink to stamp the bottle outline on to the acetate shape – the ink won’t smudge on the acetate if you use Stazon. Cut out the cork and paper scroll and colour slightly for definition.
Decide where you want to place the bottle in the sand then cut a slit in the background piece to slip the bottle into so that it looks like it is half buried in the sand! Place the scroll behind and fix in place then lay the bottle over the top. Tie sentiment round the neck of the bottle.
Cut out the birds in white card stock and ink the edges slightly for definition then fix in place. Finally, die cut and fix the grass clumps in place – particularly along the bottom of the bottle.
