No crows!
The sign says 'No crows' but I think the birds can't read! Julie made this fun card with the new Scare Crow by Marleen. This guy is much to sweet to scare any crows away.
Die cut a mat in orange card using the slimline distressed DL frame, then cut a rectangle in the sunflower design paper to fit.
Build the scarecrow by cutting all the elements in colours and design paper of your choice. Die cut the sunflowers in orange card and add a small round die cut circle in brown card to the centre of each flower. Die cut the hay bales in shades of yellow adding the binding hay/string in brown card.
Arrange the sunflowers and fix in place, using glue and foam pads to add depth. Layer the front hale bales, again using foam pads on the one at the front. Die cut the sign in brown card and add the lettering cut in white card to the sign. Cut several crows in black card.
Add the scarecrow to the centre of the card with foam pads, use the eye pieces to create rolling eyes on the scarecrow looking up at one of the crows on his head. Place the other crow die cuts around the scene. Die cut just the leaves from the sunflower die and position on the scarecrow’s hat to look like one of the crows is stealing them. Fix the finished scene to the card base.
