Pirate at sea
Today's card is made using the new Kim's Buddies Accessories die sets that let you transform the Kim's Buddies basic set into Pirates, Princesses and Knights. I've gone with a pirate theme for my card today.
I started by making a 6x6 inch card blank and then matting paper from the Cote' D'Azur set onto Kraft card to act as my background.
I then embossed a smaller square using the Ocean View embossing folder and cut out the middle with a circle die. I used another paper from the Cote D'Azur set to be the background through the circle window. Before sticking down I added the splash cut in white card from the dolphin die set at the bottom and then cut the dolphin from another piece of Cote D'Azur paper and mounted him on sticky pads for dimension.
Now for the fun part!! I cut out all the pieces of the pirate from all three of Kim's Buddies sets - so many variations of swashbuckling heros that you can make! I added my pirate to the side of the 'Ocean View' and added my barrel, bird and wheel die cuts. Finally I cut out the little anchor circle embellishments using a small circular hole punch from paper in the Nautical set. I mounted them on round foam dots and finished off my card.
