IJsberen in de bergen
This fun family of polar bears is playing in the mountains. Julie used Anja's new stencil to create this wintery landscape. It turned out te be a real decorative piece.
For my card, I’ve used the triangle stencil to create the mountain scenes- I cut out two sets of triangle cards and then folded one and cut the other in half. I’ve matted with design paper and then fixed them together for the mountain shape.
As always I cut out all of my die shapes and assembled individual pieces so that I could play around with the layout until I was happy with the placement. I cut a small circle, inked with grey ink and fixed it to the middle mountain peak to resemble a silvery moon. The cabin, sign post and trees on the back peak are tucked between the layers to add depth to the scene.
I’ve then concentrated on the front panels, inking the edges of the bears for definition and then sticking the trees, bears and the rest of the scene elements in place. Finally I’ve cut the sentiment die out and inked through the die before removing to highlight the lettering.
